Kyle and Min Ju waited so long for their wedding at the Brazilian Room in Berkeley–and it so so well worth it. For the first time, the family got to gather together, many meeting for the first time after the separation of the pandemic. But Kyle and Min Ju’s spirits were brighter than ever!

They chose the Brazilian room originally because of its location in Berkeley and also for it’s amazing architecture. One of the most magical parts about it? It is gorgeous even in the fog!

We started the day in Berkeley getting ready at their friends’ house, then headed to the Tilden Carousel for some fun photos! Sometimes the unexpected happens–though we had booked tickets months before, turns out it was closed to redecorate for the Holidays! Luckily someone was inside who took 1 look at Min Ju’s wedding dress and opened up for us. So essentially, what could have been a huge bummer worked to our favor because we ended up having the carousel all to ourselves!

Kyle and Min Ju also had the most fabulous idea to have their Cocktail Hour BEFORE the ceremony! I’m in love with this idea. It meant they got to visit even more with their guests so that by the time the ceremony came around, everyone was SO looking forward to it and felt like they were really mentally emotionally right there with them. I now tell all my couples about this because if timeline allows, what an amazing way to extend your party on your wedding day!!!
